State-of-the-art methods for customized quality

Toolmaking

Project-specific tool solutions for the manufacture of stamped-bent parts, strip springs and power springs are developed by our in-house designers, built by our toolmakers and used in production.

Modern design and software tools for everything from the simulation of tool load to automated scheduling ensure that project objectives are process-capable and completed on time.

All tool designs are created with the 3D CAD software SOLID EDGE. Models are used to assess potential risks, and then used as the basis for the drawings.
The following widely-used files can be edited:

  • DXF for 2D models
  • STEP, IGES for 3D models
  • Original files from SOLID EDGE and SOLIDWORKS
  • FEM

Borderline cases are assessed with forming simulations from other software programs.

All tools for the manufacture of stamped-bent parts, strip springs and power springs are manufactured in-house at Eberle to ensure on-time delivery and quality at the highest level.

In addition to our own company's skills, the competence and capacity available within the KL Group is used for each of the individual technologies, allowing us to easily and sustainably compensate for peak capacities and maintain our expertise at the highest level.
